Functionality available to the organization

The application consists of a definition:

• data decoder script
• data processor script
• configuration

Applications can be defined for:

• all platform users - by the platform administrator,
• organizations - by the organization administrator.

Defining support for data sources

When configuring a data source, you can specify the identifier of the application that will be used for it. In this case, application codes will be used to decode and process the data received from this source.

When planning to install multiple devices of the same type, you can define an application for them and thus:

• avoid the need to repeatedly define decoder and data processor scripts,
• provide uniform algorithms for data processing,
• allow easy changes to these algorithms as needed.
