Dashboards

The data collected extracted from the devices can be presented on a dashboard containing selected controls. A single control,
depending on its type, can present data from one or more devices.

The position and size of the controls can be conveniently changed using the drag and drop mechanism.

Permissions

The user who is the author of the dashboard can later freely view and modify it. When defining a dashboard, you can also
indicate (by providing a list of user logins separated by commas):

  • team - people who can view the dashboard
  • administrators - people who can view and modify the desktop.

Publishing dashboards

When defining a dashboard, you can also mark it as "public" and then:

  • the dashboard is publicly available for viewing in the view.signomix.com web-application to any person who knows the unique link to it,
  • the data of all devices referenced by this dashboard also becomes available to anyone knowing the link to the dashboard

For the above reasons, when making a decision to "make public" a desktop, it is important to make a fully informed decision.
