Data sources (devices)

The data source for can be any object (physical device or software)
providing measurement data via the APIs provided by Signomix.

Given the method of communication, these can be:

• loRaWAN devices operating on The Things Network,
• loRaWAN devices operating on the ChirpStack network,
• devices or software that transmit data using the HTTP protocol.

When a request is received via the REST API, Signomiks handles it by routing it first to a data decoder and then to a data processor, and writes it to a database.
