Data Sources (Devices)

A data source can be any object (physical device or software) that provides measurement data via the APIs provided by Signomiks.

Depending on the communication method, these may include:

• LoRaWAN devices operating on The Things Network,
• LoRaWAN devices operating on the ChirpStack network,
• devices or software that transmit data using the HTTP protocol.

After receiving a request via the REST API, Signomix processes it by first routing it to the data decoder, then to the data processor, and finally saving it to the database.
